Description As part of the growing Engineering Team here at TLI Group we are seeking a Design Technician to join us to work on recently awarded design contracts associated with a number of transmission and distribution grid connection projects. Main duties include the following; - AutoCAD/GIS/Revit support to TLI Group - Completion where necessary of on-site surveys, survey drawings, architectural & engineering design drawings and work generally associated with the design of grid connections and all associated infrastructure - In executing company work, knowledge of requirements of ISO 9001, ISO14001 & ISO 45001 will be required and previous experience of associated procedures will be a considerable advantage. - Preparation of utility mapping and integration of mapping with GIS systems - Compilation of planning applications & section 5 exemption applications where required - Attendance at meetings remote from TLI Group Head Office if required - Tender Submissions - assistance in relation to document compilation etc - Processing of survey and utility data (2D & 3D) in multiple formats (AutoCAD, GIS, Revit, Civil 3D). Qualifications & Skills Recognised academic training such as a HND or Degree course. Knowledge Proficient use and knowledge of software such as AutoCAD, ArcGIS, Word, Excel & Outlook; Evidence of several consistent successes within the utilities sector; & Ability to evidence recent relevant design experience. Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service (NIFRS) serves the entire community, a population of 1.9 million in an area of over 5,500 square miles. NIFRS wish to invite applications for the following role: Risk Critical Information Technician - Job Ref N189/08/2025 The Risk Critical Information Technician will support the Risk Critical Information Business Unit in the provision of an efficient and effective Risk Critical Information (RCI) facility for NIFRS. They will create suites of risk critical information relating to the hazard identification, risk control measures, fire prevention and protection measures for premises regarded by NIFRS of being higher risk to the community, firefighters, the economy or the environment. The Risk Critical Information Technician will support the Station Commander (RCI) to ensure the effective promotion and mainstreaming of equality within the NIFRS, with a focus on equality profiling and reporting, training and the provision of advice and guidance on fair employment and anti-discrimination legislation and the statutory equality duties under Section 75 of the Northern Ireland Act 1998. Hours of work; Currently 36¼ hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9.00 am to 5.00 pm. A Flexible Working Hours Scheme is in operation. In view of the level of this appointment, the post holder will be required to work in such a way as to fulfil the obligations of the post. There is currently two permanent post for based at NIFRS HQ in Lisburn. Data Capture Technician
Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Capture Technician to support our team in Cookstown office, reporting to the Project Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for the digital capture of present day and historical documents, in an efficient and effective way, ensuring that all data is captured correctly, and all procedures are followed. This role is offered on a permanent contract, and it includes a six-month probationary period. Working Hours: The working hours are 37.5 hours per week. Working hours are between 08:30am to 05:00pm from Monday to Thursday and from 08:30am to 02:30pm on Friday. Flexible working hours are available upon request. Location: The main office location is in Cookstown (Northern Ireland) and it is on-site position. Requirements: To provide document preparation and filing. To scan and index various sized documents ensuring specified procedures are followed. Digitise various types of documents using flatbed, overhead, and large-format scanners. To perform quality assurance checks on scanned material.
