This position will commence in August. Our employees are welcomed as part of the school community. Our employees are off at the break periods: midterms, Christmas, Easter and summer (unpaid). This may appeal to people with school going children. We do not offer set working days, flexibility in working days is essential. This position may not be suitable to people in part time education. The position is subject to Garda Vetting. The position of  Catering Supervisor  is approx 32.5 hours per week Monday to Friday. Shift time approx 7.30am - 2.30pm. All shift times are subject to the needs of the business. The position of  full time Catering assistant  is approx 28-32 hours per week operating Monday to Friday. Shift time approx 7.30/8.00am - 2.30pm. All shift times are subject to the needs of the business. The position of  part time Catering assistant  is approx 12-18 hours per week operating on a 2 day / 3 day rotation. Shift time approx 8.00/8.30am - 2.30pm. All shift times are subject to the needs of the business. These roles involves the preparation hot lunches fresh onsite, delivery of these to the classroom, and clean down. Previous catering and Supervisory experience and knowledge of HACCP an advantage but not essential.

Alert management when inspectors announce themselves. Undertake cleaning duties and deep cleaning duties on a rotational basis Deal immediately with incidents, and where necessary call 999 for emergency services (gardai or ambulance or fire services) or back up. Report immediately to the manager on call. Be vigilant to the possibility, that we may have trespassers or other untoward behaviour on the grounds at times, and in such a case, note the time of the intrusion, and call Gardai. Where possible note all numbers of any strange vehicles in the communication/handover book. Report all use of fire equipment, fire alarms going off, electricity or fire outage, and report to management. Assist in the induction of new staff at the manager’s request.
