Invest In Your Future

Are you interested in gaining IT, Administration and Communication Skills that will enhance your CV and open your career opportunities?

Invest In Your Future is an accredited programme with certification in; ICDL – Word, Presentations, Spreadsheets and Online Essentials. Successful candidates will receive a FETAC QQI Level 5 accreditation in Communications, Office Administration, Word Processing and Typing. The programme will be delivered in a creative, project-based format with students engaging in group work, workshops and developing individual portfolios.

Career guidance will be integrated throughout the programme with participants getting individual career planning, CV & Interview preparation support and 4 weeks work experience. You will also get the opportunity to expand your knowledge about apprenticeships and labour market opportunities.

This part-time blended programme is run over 5 days, 9am – 1pm Monday to Friday at the Finglas Training Centre, Dublin. Participants will be required to be on site Monday – Thursday and work remotely on Fridays. The Finglas Training centre in conjunction with the Ballymun Job Centre co-ordinate the initiative which is delivered at the Finglas Training Centre. Both organisations will provide the participants with ongoing support throughout the programme.

The programme will run for 40 weeks, starting in February 2024 and places are limited to 14 participants.

There is no charge for participants, to join the programme and if you are in receipt of a Social Welfare payment, you may be eligible to maintain that payment (excluding individuals on carers payments).

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS? 18 years +, Junior Cert or equivalent level of education. Must have a STAMP 4 visa or letter of eligibility to work in Ireland.
