Good luck to everyone who’s waiting for Leaving Cert results tomorrow. It’s been the strangest year ever, but no matter what happens please be assured that you’ll be ok!

You have reached an important milestone in your lives, but it’s certainly not the be-all and end-all. There are now so many options available to you, traineeships, apprenticeships and lots of pathways into further education should you not get the points that you were expecting. The most important thing is to choose a course that matches your aptitude and interests, otherwise you risk dropping out early or worse still ending up in a job that you really don’t like.

This is the start of a lifelong journey of learning, where you will have the ability to adapt to ever-changing circumstances in your life. These are just predictive grades, they don’t define you as a person.
