Here's a great opportunity to achieve an Aircraft Spray-Painting - City and Guilds Diploma: NVQ Extended Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering while learning on the job at Dublin Airport. Once the course is successfully completed, participants will be offered full time employment!

This programme is running in partnership with IAC, Dublin Airport; encompassing on-the-job training. Learners will gain the skills, knowledge and competencies required to work effectively as Aircraft Surface Finisher. The programme is City and Guilds certified. GV and medical form part of the recruitment process.

End Date - 15/05/2020

Duration - 26 Weeks

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

• Education: Learners should ideally have Junior Certificate (or equivalent) english, maths and science.
• Aptitude: The selection process on behalf of employers may include initial assessment where applicants will be asked if they have any qualifications or experience that can be accredited against the requirements of the award. They may also be required to take tests in basic numeracy and literacy, communications skills and spatial awareness. There may also be an interview to ensure applicants have selected the right occupational sector and are motivated to become an learner on the course, as undertaking this course is a major commitment for both the individual and the employer.
• Previous Experience: Previous work experience is desirable but not essential.
