Take the next step in your career. Register now to attend one of the many events taking place across the country for 'Jobs Week 2020' beginning on Monday 2nd March.

JobAlert.ie will be participating in the Intreo Careers Fair at Dublin Castle on Monday 2nd March - where information seminars will be live streamed across Europe.

National Jobs Week is an important week which aims to showcase the supports and services available to jobseekers and people who would like to further advance their careers.

During the week there will be over 120 events bringing together an estimated 15,000 people to help them achieve their career goals. Most of these are open events but some will require pre-registration. Some events are tailored to meet the needs of specific groups of jobseekers including for example people with disabilities, refugees or people with literacy or numeracy issues. There will also be a focus on Apprenticeships and people who would like to return to work after a break.

The events listed below reflect that scope and range of meetings, seminars, workshops and jobs fairs being hosted nationally throughout the week:

- Jobs Week coincides with the Local Enterprise Week (follow #MakingItHappen for more information) with nearly 30 events jointly hosted by Intreo and Local Enterprise Offices around the country. The events promote supports and services for employers and businesses which include Breakfast Information Seminars, briefings for accountants, Meeting Your Bank Manager and Support for Start Ups.

- There are over 20 events designed to support jobseekers with disabilities and their employers. These are being run in collaboration with Employability services, the National Learning Network and Local Enterprise Offices to promote awareness of the supports and services for employers and jobseekers with a disability to move into work or self-employment.

- To coincide with International Women’s day on 8th March, 25 events will be hosted focusing on supporting Women in Business, moving back into employment and promoting further education and training opportunities.

- An event in Trinity College, Dublin will focus on returners to create greater awareness of the supports available to attract talented workers back into the workforce after taking time out of their career.

- There will be a massive Careers Fair at Dublin Castle on Monday 2nd March which will be live streamed across Europe.
