Liberty Insurance Announce 120 New Jobs For Cavan

Liberty Insurance have today announced that they are to create up to 120 new jobs in their Cavan location over the next three years.

The American insurance company has recently established a new motor insurance claims service in Cavan and this expansion will be put in place to support Liberty’s business on a global scale.

The operation will focus mainly on appraisal work for the insurer’s motor sector and the utilization of increasing cases where photo estimations are used to streamline the appraisal process for Liberty’s American based customers.

This expansion is supported by IDA Ireland and will help support their strategy of encouraging regional investment and increased development of more businesses outside of Dublin.

The insurance industry has a vast landscape within Ireland and employs approximately 28,000 people and this number is experiencing a rate of growth above the national average.

In demand occupations within the insurance sector include Financial Analysts, Actuaries, Insurance Brokers and Underwriters amongst others.
