MSD looking to fill 200 roles at Irish sites

Pharma company MSD is looking to fill up to 200 jobs across four of its sites in Ireland before the end of the year.

The open roles are across areas such as engineering, quality, environmental health safety and operations and are divided evenly across MSD's sites in Carlow, Cork, Dublin and Tipperary.

The company now employs 2,500 people across manufacturing sites in Ballydine, Co. Tipperary, Brinny, Co. Cork, Carlow and Swords in North Dublin, along with MSD Human Health and MSD Animal Health operations based in Leopardstown, South Dublin

MSD now has 300 people working at their new biotech facility in Swords, which is due to begin production next year.

Meanwhile, the company says the development of a new facility adjacent to MSD Carlow in 2022 will see a significant increase in the production of vaccines and biologics.
