St. Michael’s House has been a leading provider of high-quality, person-centred services for adults with intellectual disabilities for over 70 years. We provide services in three regions: North Region (Ballymun); North Region (Coolock); South Region (Goatstown). About the role: Applications are invited for the post of Professionally Qualified Social Worker to work as part of SMH Social Work Department (adult services). The post/s will be based in the North Region of SMH with cross-regional responsibility. The successful candidates will support the effective delivery of the social work function in SMH. The role will also include supporting families before, during and post diagnosis. The CDNT’s are charged with the delivery of an efficient and effective health and personal social service for children and young people with complex needs relating to a disability. These teams include Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Physiotherapy, Speech and Language Therapy, Social Work, Pediatrician and Nursing.
