Your skill set: • At least 1 year car sales experience in a franchised dealership environment. • Full, valid driving licence (aged 21+ for insurance purposes). • Must be computer literate. • Possess excellent interpersonal skills and have a high degree of self-motivation. Key Responsibilities: The following responsibilities are core to the effective performance of all Sales Executives working within the Agnew Group. Accuracy of work is a priority in all responsibilities. We may require additional specific activities and, where so, these will be identified separately. Prospecting & Pre-sales Activity • At point of first contact, accurately record all relevant customer and vehicle information. • Carry out customer contact activity as required using data gathered from the Retailer customer database, telephoned customer enquiries, walk-ins, referrals and general research. • Attend sales meetings and training courses. • Ensure that supplies of vehicle brochures are kept available and up-to-date. • Help ensure that showroom and forecourt are maintained to Manufacturer and Retailer standards. • Ensure that all displayed vehicles are correctly priced and display tax, registration and consumption details. • Relocate vehicles between showroom, forecourt and workshop as directed. • Ensure that company cars are kept in a clean and tidy condition and are ready for presentation to any customer. Handover Activity • Ensure customers are aware of pre-payment requirements. • Make arrangements two days in advance with individual customers to deliver and hand over vehicles ensuring Business Manager is aware of delivery date. • Prepare handbooks for vehicles and ensure all other documentation (e.g., finance, contract hire) is administered and signed in line with dealer practice. • Fully acquaint each customer with vehicle controls and other relevant information and make introductions to Service Team members. Follow-up Activity • Contact each customer both three days and six months after delivery to ensure satisfaction and deal with any queries or issues. • Maintain regular contact and feedback with customers during ownership. Health & Safety • Take an active part in upholding the Company’s Health and Safety Policy. • Comply with Company legislation as set out in the Conditions of Employment. • Notify Supervisor/Manager of damage or breakdown of equipment. • Ensure work area is clean, tidy and in a safe condition in order to uphold Manufacturers’ and Company’s image.

Laboratory Technician
About the role We have great opportunity for a Laboratory Technician in our Kerry site in Charleville, Co. Cork. This is a full time, permanent role Hours of work involve a 3 cycle shift pattern consisting of 0800 - 1600 / 1600 - 1200 / 1200- 0800 plus shift allowance of 25%. The hours may change in the summer to 12 hour shifts working 4 on 4 off (2 days and 2 nights) The Laboratory Technician is based in our Powder Lab, within Milk intake. You will be responsible for testing and analysing product samples to ensure that the quality standards are met. Any previous experience as Lab Assistant, Lab Analyst, Quality Technician or QC Technician will be advantageous. What will I be doing? · Testing and analysing raw materials, WIP and finished product samples. · Carrying out all laboratory activities in line with GLP and in-house requirements. · Assisting with ensuring the laboratory is always adequately stocked with the consumables necessary to carry out the required analyses. · Recording all data relevant to each test, and results and keeping all records up to date, clear and legible. · Performing basic instrument calibration, maintenance and completion of associated records. · Preparation of swabs and environmental swabbing and testing. · Management of shelf-life samples. · Work with production and quality team on root cause analysis. · Maintaining the laboratory in a clean and well organised status. · Participation in audits (internal and external) and inspections. What do I need to be successful? · Science based degree in a relevant area i.e Food Science, nutrition, biology, analytical chemistry etc or relevant laboratory experience is a requirement. · Good standard of PC literacy (Excel, Word) - SAP would be an advantage. · Analytical and logical approach with excellent attention to detail. · Keen interest in food science and food safety. · Ability to thrive under pressure and work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. · Good written and verbal communication skills. · Flexibility and willingness to learn. · Effective oral and written communication skills · Ability to work well independently and within a team. · Continuous improvement mindset. · Proactive approach to troubleshooting. · Detail orientated. Our practice ensures residents remain in their local community with better health outcomes, helping to avoid their transfer to acute facilities. Referrals and admissions are accepted from acute services, the community and nearby residential units. We are committed to the delivery of best practice nursing care to 131 residents with varying complex care needs. This includes: tracheostomies; IV fluids/antibiotics; complex wounds and subcutaneous fluids. We provide an excellent End-of-Life service and are actively involved with the Hospice Friendly Hospital programme. Each unit is managed by a CNM 2 and CNM 1 and is staffed with Staff Nurses, Health Care Assistants and Multi-task Attendants. There is a medical team with 24-hour medical cover and Allied Health Services (Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy etc). Each unit is supported by Household and Catering Attendants. Cherry Orchard Hospital has free on-site parking as well as a great staff canteen serving hot breakfasts and lunches. We are situated close to Liffey Valley Shopping centre, our campus has easy access to Dublin city centre as well as to the N4 / M4 and the M50. The bus routes that stop outside of our campus are S4, G2 and L55 with more nearby. Location of Post There is currently a permanent whole-time vacancy available in Older Person Services, Cherry Orchard Hospital, Ballyfermot, Dublin 10.
