City of Dublin ETB has 3,000 employees and an annual budget of €580m. It is the state education and training authority for Dublin city and serves the area covered by Dublin City Council. This provision is delivered to over 48,000 learners (20,000 full-time and 28,000 part-time) and is supported by a range of services including a psychological service, a curriculum development unit, a buildings maintenance unit and Head Office staff in Ballsbridge. It also has statutory responsibility for supporting the provision, coordination, administration and assessment of youth work services in Dublin city and is the lead partner for Music Generation Dublin City. City of Dublin ETB is also responsible for the national awarding authority for student grants in Ireland, Student Universal Support Ireland (SUSI). Since its establishment 1983 the centre is embedded as the provider of several Phase 2 Craft Apprenticeshipstrades in the area of Electrical, Motor Mechanics, Plumbing, Carpentry & Joinery and Sheetmetal. Since then, thousands of Apprentices attending our courses have expanded their skills and knowledge in their chosen field of learning. Please note that a Panel may be formed from which vacancies in this subject area may be filled in a permanent, fixed term or specific purpose capacity. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, cutting, deboning, trimming and presenting meat products to a high standard in a busy retail environment. Key Responsibilities: * Cutting, deboning, trimming and preparing meat products for retail sale * Ensuring proper storage, handling and rotation of meat products in compliance with food safety standards * Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene of the work area in accordance with HACCP guidelines * Assisting customers with meat selection and providing basic product advice * Operating meat processing tools and equipment safely * Packaging and labelling products appropriately * Monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering when required Requirements: * Previous minimum 2 years' experience in meat cutting, butchery or similar role * Knowledge of meat preparation techniques and hygiene practices * HACCP Level 2 (or equivalent food safety training) preferred * Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment * Good communication and customer service skills * Ability to work as part of a team This is a full-time position based within a supermarket retail environment. The role is strictly retail-focused and does not involve industrial or factory-based meat processing.

Essential · Possess a relevant Level 7 third level qualification, at minimum, with registration with regulator as appropriate. · Minimum 3 years’ experience working with people with an Intellectual Disability Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills. · Have a strong working knowledge of HIQA standards and regulations · Demonstrate the ability to manage and supervise staff · Have an understanding of and commitment to Personal Lifestyle Planning. · Be proactive and have the ability to work as part of a team. · Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work on their own initiative. · Excellent IT, administration, report writing and organisational skills. · Possess a full clean driving licence and own vehicle · Be able to work evenings and weekend shifts. · Be prepared to be on call as required · Assume the role of Person in Charge, if successful candidate has three years management experience on commencement.
