Store Person (Shipping)

The facility employs highly skilled aircraft engineers, mechanics, and support staff. PAM Ireland has an exciting opportunity for a Store Person (Shipping) in our Shannon facility. The working hours for this position are Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm. Reporting to the Stores Supervisor the successful candidate will join a team join a team of highly skilled staff, with an essential part to play in safely maintaining a fleet of 600+ aircraft for one of the world’s largest and most successful airlines. Requirements Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities: • Preparing Aircraft parts and Tooling for flight and road transport to locations within the network including items classed as Dangerous Goods. • Preparing Unserviceable Parts and Tooling for transport to vendors for repair and re-certification. • Creating Repair Orders for Unserviceable parts where necessary. • Prepare and ensure all consignments travel with correct documentation and Customs clearance. • Transporting consignments physically to and from Aircraft on the Airport Apron. • Arranging transport for road consignments when necessary. • Support wider Stores Team with day-to-day tasks where necessary. Knowledge, Skills and Experience: • Previous experience in a warehouse environment. • Forklift experience preferred. • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word. • Familiarity with AMOS or other stock control databases/software is beneficial. • A knowledge of quality processes and procedures is preferable. • Experience working within the aviation industry is advantageous. • Dangerous Goods knowledge and experience with cycle counting is beneficial. • Candidates must hold a full clean Category B driver’s license.
