Radiography Services Manager
Reporting directly to the Radiography Services Manager 3, the position of Radiography Services Manager 1 requires an ability to lead, guide and supervise Radiographic staff and to successfully manage service delivery on a day to day basis. Primary role is to assist in the provision of a comprehensive Radiography service including ward/departmental service and after hour’s emergency service consistent with the resources allocated and the hospitals evolving requirements. Ability to manage in a rapidly changing environment and willingness to undertake such additional duties as may be assigned from time to time are essential. Senior Pharmacist, Infectious Diseases
The Pharmacy & Medicines Optimisation (PAMO) Directorate plays a pivotal role in the safe, effective and economic provision of pharmaceutical care to MMUH patients. The PAMO Directorate workload is intrinsically bound with the work of a variety of other Departments, Directorates and Hospital Management. The core services delivered within the PAMO directorate include Clinical Pharmacy, Dispensary, Drug Safety, Medicines Information and Pharmacy Cancer Services. This Infectious Diseases role involves provision of a clinical dispensing service patients with HIV, Hepatitis C, Tuberculosis and Sexually Transmitted Infections and ID clinical trials with the associated regulatory compliance. This post also supports drug re imbursement processes for ID drugs and clinical pharmacy service provision to inpatient wards. To attend team meetings, case conferences etc. To communicate effectively and work cooperatively with members of the multidisciplinary team. · To liaise with appropriate services, i.e., Community Care, Public Health Nurses, Voluntary Organisations, Support groups, and public bodies. Education & Training · Continuing education is an integral part of a Speech and Language Therapist’ career. Administration Duties · To perform clerical duties in connection with work i.e. maintaining accurate clinical records, statistics and therapy outcome measures. · To maintain a high standard of record keeping administration and time management skills. · To be involved in the planning and implementation of audit and research. · To assist the departmental manager in service planning and to undertake quality initiatives in chosen areas. · To Deputise for the Speech & Language Therapy Manager. . General Hospital Duties · There is a responsibility on all staff to adhere to all hospital guidelines, policies & procedures and best practise. This includes infection control guidelines, waste management, and environmental management etc. · Co-operating with the maintenance and future development of Information Technology within the Department and the Hospital generally. · Attend mandatory training and any other recommended training. · There is a responsibility on all staff to participate in internal and external audit and review as appropriate. · To work in a manner with due care and attention to safety of self, patients, staff and other persons in the workplace with reference to the Safety, Health & Welfare at Work Act 2005. · The post holder is accountable, responsible and has authority for delivering a quality service and ensuring patient safety.
