Process Manager
The Role: Customer Operations develop, deliver and support excellent customer experience and service to both domestic and non-domestic customers within a regulated industry. Customer Operations is responsible for managing the customer relationship with the Customer Contact Centre, ensuring timely and accurate customer billing services and effectively implementing the Uisce Eireann customer strategy. The Connections and Developer Services (CDS) team are responsible for the end to end customer management of all connections to the Uisce Eireann network. They are responsible for managing the vesting/taking in charge processes, including the progression of assessment, modelling, design, inspection, estimation and commercials of same nationally. The CDS Commercial team is responsible for the coordination of connection contracts based on both standard and quotable connections, ensuring that all connection quotes are robust and the financial costs are recognised once the connection has been completed. This role is to provide governance and commercial reviews in line Uisce Eireann Connection Charging Policy and all other integral governance procedures. Reporting to the CDS Senior Services Manager, the Process Manager is responsible for the management, coordination and delivery of core enhancement projects, process improvement reviews and change projects ensuring a clear demonstration of outcomes and benefits for the Connections and Developer Services function within Uisce Éireann , incorporating Uisce Éireann Systems, Uisce Éireann processes, to ensure an improved customer service in a timely fashion. This will be achieved by leading change with colleagues, through collaboration and strong communication, analytical assessment of the potential to improve and the design and implementation of change measures to improve the customer experience and journey. Main Duties and Responsibilities: • Manage the development of process improvement opportunities, associated initiatives and solutions using principles of process excellence and related tools in accordance with Customer Operations business requirements • Work closely with the Connections and Developer Services Manager to affect process optimisation across CDS, Billing Services, Customer Servicesand Strategy & Capability teams • Prioritise and manage the roll out and implementation of special projects and enhancements within Customer Operations to ensure that Customer Services is embedded in the core of all CDS activity • Develop and maintain a clear understanding of the consistent evolution of the Customer Operations business solutions • Drive prioritisation of workload, ensuring resource allocation is aligned within Customer Operations objectives, • Provide quality reporting, analysis and audits for developing plans and programs to support continuous quality improvements using applicable tools • Ensure that processes are developed, captured and maintained in agreed formats accessible to the business • Define and validate business requirements for processes • Advise the Connections and Developer Services Manager on improvement options in critical systems and technologies • Review business critical processes and ensure that processes are adequate and conform to industry standards • Facilitate desired productivity and quality performance from team and stakeholders, based on defined KPIs as set by management teams across the connection to billing life cycle • Manage and conduct the performance management and development processes for direct reports • Provide input to business change assessments from a business process perspective • Raise risks and issues as appropriate to the Customer Operations • Propose remedial actions where needed General Duties and Responsibilities • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders across the UÉ business. • Responsible for promoting and delivering health and safety commitments across UÉ and its supply chain, reinforcing positive behaviours and delivering health and safety objectives and requirements to the highest industry standards. • Support the delivery of the Uisce Éireann Transformation Programme, driving results required within the Directorate and supporting organisation-wide objectives. • Provide visible leadership for your team, coaching and developing them to achieve their full potential and deliver business objectives, promoting collaboration and highlighting the behaviours that are expected from everyone in the team. • Other duties as required. Reporting to the Wastewater Network Performance Analyst, the Wastewater Network Performance Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the enhancement of asset information and modelling data to provide greater confidence to assessments undertaken on the performance and capacity of wastewater networks. The Role: The Asset Operations function forms the cornerstone of service delivery to customers, protecting the environment and meeting regulatory standards as well as managing the majority of operational expenditure. The Asset Operations function has responsibility for operational and maintenance strategy, policies, planning and standard operating procedures for Water and Wastewater operations both nationally and regionally, ensuring that value for money and customer service is delivered. The Operations Support Team has responsibility for providing and managing effective business infrastructure and processes at a national level to support operational activities at site level. The key aim of the DBO team is to ensure that Uisce Éireann are achieving maximum value for money from the DBO Portfolio, all the while ensuring that the contractors maintain operational stability and efficacy in accordance with the provisions of the operations contract. Reporting to the DBO Contract Technical Manager, the DBO Contract Technical Lead will contribute to the effective management of commercial contracts within the DBO Team. The role will also involve the implementation of national commercial initiatives across the portfolio along with working with the DBO Leads in the analysis and resolution of contractor claims and assessments of variations on the DBO contracts. Main Duties and Responsibilities: • Play a key role in the DBO Team on the commercial management of DBO contracts on an ongoing basis • Assist the DBO team on the commercial management of DBO short operational service contracts on an ongoing basis and in particular the assessment of payment applications • Manage, track and report on the Capital Replacement Fund spend across the DBO portfolio • Data management & governance in the collation of information internally on DBO operated sites • Support the DBO team to ensure internal contract governance is adhered to • Monitor and review contracts, ensuring they are compliant with commercial terms (based on operational reports) and audit payments as required • Liaise with internal stakeholders, to ensure information; costs, and value meet the requirements of each DBO contract • Assist the DBO team with the development and negotiation of national DBO arrangements with third party suppliers • Support the DBO team in the development and negotiation of DBO operational contracts • Support the DBO team in the development of revenue generation initiatives across the DBO portfolio of contracts • Ensure DBO contracts are managed in a consistent, standardised, and effective manner; identifying key trends and challenging underperformance. • Monitor and review contracts, ensuring they are compliant with Commercial terms (based on operational reports) and audit payments as required • Liaise with all Stakeholders, internal and external to ensure information; costs, and value meet the requirements of each DBO contract • Support the development and negotiation of national DBO arrangements with third party suppliers • Support Asset Strategy and Asset Delivery in the development and negotiation of DBO contracts • Work with the wider business to develop revenue generation initiatives from the DBO portfolio of contracts • Advise on contractual dispute resolution and contract interpretation for DBO contracts. • Raise contract commercial risks and issues as appropriate to the DBO Team • Support the DBO Contract Technical Manager in execution of strategic and tactical commercial decisions • Ensure alignment to Uisce Éireann procurement practices, and industry best practice • Assist with preparing Budgets and monitoring of same, highlighting any risks to our contracts. • Carry out Value for Money analysis on all Cost Proposals received on our Contracts • Perform other duties as required from time to time General Duties and Responsibilities • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders across the UÉ business. • Responsible for promoting and delivering health and safety commitments across UÉ and its supply chain, reinforcing positive behaviours and delivering health and safety objectives and requirements to the highest industry standards. • Support the delivery of the Uisce Éireann Transformation Programme, driving results required within the Directorate and supporting organisation-wide objectives. • Other duties as required. Reporting to the Network Operations Technical Lead, the Network Operations Supervisor will oversee a team of Coordinators and Officers and will be responsible for managing all Workflow tasks associated with Outage Management / Water Unfit for Consumption processes arising from our regulatory obligations. The role will require very close liaison with colleagues in Asset Operations, Customer Operations and Assets Programmes to ensure effective end to end service delivery.
