Regional Laboratory Manager – Dublin (Job Ref: 26/RLMD) Randox are a world leader in diagnostics for clinical healthcare, toxicology, and food security. We are currently looking for an experienced Laboratory Manager to take full ownership of our regional clinical laboratory in Sandyford in Dublin. Location : Unit D/E, 21 Time Place, Corrig Road, Sandyford Business Park, Dublin 18, D18 R89T. Contract Offered : Full-time, permanent. Working Hours / Shifts : 40 hours per week. This lab is open 24/7 so some evenings, mornings and weekends will be required. For this position, as you may be in contact with live blood samples, you must be vaccinated against Hepatitis B or be able to get it following a successful interview stage. What does this role involve? This role is responsible for the leadership performance of the overall laboratory. The main duties of the role include: • Manage the end-to-end performance of the laboratory from turnaround times, QC and repeat-rate management through to stock control and cost efficiency. • Use data to drive continuous improvement rather than waiting to be told what to fix. • Lead and develop a team of Team Leads, mentoring the next generation of laboratory leaders. • Work closely with our Operational Performance Partners to keep the lab compliant and audit-ready against ISO 17025, ISO 15189, GCP and MHRA standards. • Actively seek out new technologies and smarter processes to keep our diagnostic offering ahead of the curve. • Overall management of the laboratory staff, including conducting appraisals and delivering training, along with your team leaders. • Ensure that the integrity of all samples is adhered to at all times. • Writing of new Standard Operation Procedures and Work Instructions within the Laboratory. • Ensure that clients are receiving the best possible service. Essential: • Qualified to at least degree level in Biomedical Science Biochemistry, Immunology or a Life Science. • Experience in diagnostic testing. • Previous experience working in a laboratory setting. • Be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills. • Demonstrable experience of working with strong attention to detail. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and organisational skills. • Knowledge of a variety of software packages including Microsoft packages such as Excel, Outlook and Word. • Currently have the right to work in Ireland without visa sponsorship. Desirable: • Previous managerial experience. • Previous experience in laboratory management. • Practical experience using automated analysers. • Experience in a private healthcare/laboratory setting. • Working knowledge of quality systems. • Working knowledge of Health and Safety, including CoSHH.
Clinical Laboratory Analyst
Clinical Laboratory Analyst – Warrington (Job Ref: 26/CLWG) Randox are a world leader in diagnostics for clinical healthcare, toxicology, and food security. We are currently looking to hire Laboratory Analysts within our team based in Warrington. The successful candidate will be conducting rapid onsite testing for multiple Point of Care clinical and / or molecular tests. Responsible for the processing of Blood and other samples from Randox Health or third-party clinics. Location : Unit 2 Bishops Court. Warrington, WA2 8QY. Contract Offered : Full-time, permanent. Working Hours / Shifts : 4 on, 4 off: 7pm to 7am and 7am to 7pm alternating shift pattern. (Night shift allowance given) For this position, as you may be in contact with live blood samples, you must be vaccinated against Hepatitis B or be able to get it following a successful interview stage. The main duties of the role include: • Routine use of the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMs). • The performance of various analytical procedures including various manual screening and automated methods covering a wide variety of clinical diagnostic tests. • The preparation and handling of samples and diagnostic reagents. • The operation of various automated analytical systems such as Rx Daytona Plus, Rx Imola and Siemens Immulite XPi. • The accurate maintenance of analytical records. • Strict adherence to chain of custody procedures throughout the analytical process. • The routine maintenance and calibration of analytical instrumentation. • The preparation of specimens for transportation to ensure that their stability is safeguarded during shipment to the appropriate analytical laboratory. • Recording and Monitoring of temperature for Laboratory and Equipment. • Perform troubleshooting on technical issues associated with Clinical Diagnostic Testing. • Participation in Quality Audits. Essential: • Qualified to at least degree level in Biochemistry or a life science. • Demonstrable experience of working with strong attention to detail. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and organisational skills. • Currently have the right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship. Desirable: • 1 year laboratory-based experience as Scientist or a Lab Analyst. • Practical experience using automated analysers. • Experience in a private healthcare setting. • Flexibility to assist in overtime. • Working knowledge of quality systems. • Working knowledge of Health and Safety, including CoSHH.

We have an exciting new career opportunity for a Phlebotomist within our clinic in Kingston. Main Location : Unit G10, Bentall Centre, Wood Street, Kingston upon Thames, London, England, KT1 1TP. Successful applicants will work within a dynamic rota model. This means that while rotas will be provided in advance, scheduled shifts may be across different clinic locations within the relevant cluster area, depending on customer demand and operational requirements. This role will cover the following Randox Health Clinics within Cluster 2: Clinics include: Kingston, Chiswick, Richmond, Fulham, and Wimbledon. Contract Offered : Full-time, permanent Working Hours / Shifts : 4 on 4 off shift patten. Start and finish times are 8.40am to 8.40pm each day and 9am to 8pm on a Thursday. Our clinics operate 7 days a week, so you’ll be expected to work your contracted hours across the week, Saturday to Friday. In line with Care Quality Commission guidelines, the successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check. What does the Phlebotomist role involve? This role is responsible for ensuring customers have an excellent experience from the moment they enter our clinic, taking blood samples from both private and corporate clients. This is a varied role that may also include the following responsibilities: • Conduct comprehensive client appointments, including blood and urine sample collection, personal health measurements, and data entry into our Patient Information Systems (PIS). • Demonstrate sensitive communication to ensure client understanding and consent. • Maintain accurate records in PIS, uploading all relevant documentation. • Represent the company professionally at offsite events and appointments. • Engage in upselling and cross-selling at our private health clinic. • Proactively drive sales and exceed targets. • Complete company forms, specimen labelling, and laboratory test order forms accurately. • Demonstrate high IT literacy in order to manager various software systems and daily tasks. Essential criteria: • Previous Phlebotomy experience and certificate or equivalent training. • Confident using IT programmes. • Flexibility with working hours, as required by the business inclusive of evenings and weekends. • Flexibility to work from offsite locations at least once per month. • Strong communication skills. • Currently have the right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.
