In this role, you will report to the Toolroom Supervisor and play an essential part in programming and operating CNC routers using VCarve CAM software. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting technical drawings and CAD files, setting up and operating the CNC router to produce precision components, and selecting appropriate tools and machine settings for each project. You will also support finishing operations such as drilling, tapping, deburring, and assembly, perform routine equipment maintenance, and inspect finished products for quality and accuracy. Maintaining a tidy work area and collaborating with design and production teams to improve workflow are key, as is ensuring all work meets safety standards and company policies.
