We are seeking a passionate and people focused individual to join the team at our Flagship Store on Nassau Street. This is a fixed term (12-month) contract, with potential to become a permanent role. The Role: · Fully flexible Department Manager. Ability to work weekdays as well as weekends is essential. Hours are over a 7-day period, Monday to Sunday · Assisting the management and team in creating an outstanding buying experience for our customers. Supporting and driving sales through link-selling and up-selling our products and services, · Aware of store targets and KPI's such as sales, ATV, conversion and IPT. · Learning and development is part of our culture therefore understanding of our products and its heritage is vital in the role. · Continuously communicating, supporting and providing feedback to your management team. · Opening and closing the store, with the responsibility of the keys. · Managing the store’s security alarm system, including ensuring it’s in perfect condition, enabling and disabling it when necessary. · Storing and protecting the security alarm codes · Daily cash management – from the point of sale to the collection of cash from Brinks. · Store standards to be maintained at all times: · To ensure company housekeeping are met. · All stock is priced, bar coded, clean, and visually well merchandised. · Replenishing stock at appropriated times only. · Accurately checking off deliveries and ensuring that only the boxes being worked on are on the shop floor. · Any stock entering or leaving the shop is accompanied by the appropriate paperwork as in company induction · Be aware of security standards throughout the store · Be aware of Health and Safety standards as per the company handbook.
