The Role: The permanent full-time Senior Speech and language therapist will be responsible for delivery of CDNT6 provide services to children from 0-18 with complex development needs which include physical, sensory, intellectual disabilities and autism. The Brothers of Charity Services Ireland (BOCSI) are the lead agency for this team. This post has been funded through the Special School Pilot (for enhanced in-school therapy support to special schools). CDNT6 covers a geographical area of: Galway City East, Claregalway, Gort, Headford and Oranmore. Reports / Responsible to: The Senior Speech and Language Therapist is accountable to the Children’s Network Team Manager. The relationship between the CDNM, BOCSI Head of Speech and Language Therapy and Speech and Language Therapists who work in CDNTs is being developed and will evolve over time in line with national and local agreements.
