Health & Safety Officer

SAP Landscapes LtdMaynooth, County Kildare€47,000 - €55,000 per year

With over 50 years’ experience, SAP Landscapes is one of Ireland’s leading landscape construction and maintenance companies. We employ more than 375 people across six divisions — grounds maintenance, landscape creation, small works, winter maintenance, tree works, interior planting and we are backed for continued growth. Our work is genuinely safety-critical: tree works at height with chainsaws and machinery, winter gritting through the night, a large vehicle fleet and daily work on live client and construction sites. As we grow, we want an experienced  Health & Safety Officer  to help us build and lead a strong, practical safety culture across the business. Position: Health & Safety Officer Contract: Full Time (40 hours per week) Reporting to: Health & Safety Manager Base: Head Office, Maynooth, Co. Kildare Coverage: Greater Leinster (primarily Dublin-based sites) The Role Based at our Head Office in Maynooth with regular travel to client sites, you will make sure our health and safety policies, procedures and legal obligations are implemented and maintained across all operations. Working closely with the Health & Safety Manager, operational teams and site crews, you will provide hands-on support, guidance and coaching — not just paperwork — to keep our people and our clients safe. Although SAP Landscapes is a landscape company, much of our work is construction-adjacent — landscape construction, working on and alongside live construction sites, plant and machinery, working at height and traffic management. The role carries strong commonality with construction and civils health and safety, including the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations and PSCS/PSDP coordination, so experience gained in construction, civils or facilities environments transfers directly. Key Responsibilities: Ready to help us create better spaces, safely? We would love to hear from you. SAP Landscapes is an equal opportunity employer.
