We are looking for a farm techician apprentice to join our team here in Ring, Co Waterford. Having had Dairy students here for the past 13 years, we have a wealth of experience in helping young farmers fulfil their potential. We will help you become technically proficient in all aspects of dairy operations and support you in your learning and progression through to becoming a capable farm technician. This is a spring calving dairy farm. Our goal is to work efficiently and be profitable in a simple grass based system. Measuring and growing grass/clover while attaining a 90% six week calving rate. We are milking 400 cows. Our facilities are modern with a 54 Point Rotary parlour , 420 cubicles, New calving and calf rearing facilities. We have collars for heat detection and health monitoring. We work closely as a team, learning together and supporting one another to make the best decisions.
