Joe Mallon Motors have a great opportunity for a Fully Qualified Service Technician or a 3rd/4th Year Apprentice Technician to join our team at our Portlaoise dealership. Experienced mechanics should have dealer experience. Formal skills training with a recognised automotive organisation is essential. Experienced technicians should be skilled in all aspects of vehicle repairs and servicing including diagnostics and electronics. You must be able to produce high quality work in a busy environment and be motivated through set targets, showing flexibility according to the needs of your team. You will be a committed individual with a positive, 'can do' attitude, and willingness to work as part of an effective team. You will have good communication skills to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of work through the workshop, making sure you liaise with other team members to meet and exceed customer expectations. Duties to include: · Dealing with customer requirements for service and repair in an efficient and courteous manner to ensure the highest standard of Customer Service. · Organising the loading of the workshop in an efficient manner to ensure efficient utilisation of workshop capacity. · Carrying out customer follow up and prospecting activities to maintain and build the volume of work within the workshop and provide the sale of accessories and parts. · Manufactures showroom standards · Internal audit of procedures · To maintain an accurate filing system · Dealing with customer queries · Ensure security and confidentiality of data Other Duties · Reception, secretarial and general office duties · To undertake other administrative and other duties if required. The Responsibilities Prepare the raw materials in advance of each truss production. Assist in the physical assembly of roof trusses. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area and jigs. Assist in the wrapping and marking of each complete order. Proactively set up for next order once current order is complete. Identify and report any quality or safety issues to the Production Supervisor. Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in safety, efficiency, and quality.
