These important collections, which document the nation’s rich artistic and cultural heritage and support the study of art history and visual culture, are held in the National Gallery’s Fine Art library, Institutional archives, Centre for the Study of Irish art, Yeats archive and Sir Denis Mahon Library and Archive. The Library & Archives department is responsible for the management, care and provision of access to these collections for research and study and also oversees a wide-ranging engagement programme. The Gallery wishes to recruit an Assistant Archivist to support the central role research plays in the Gallery and contribute to the management and care of the archives and special collections we hold in trust for future generations.
