Quality Assurance Officer
Description TLI Group are accepting applications for a Quality Assurance Officer within our Overhead Lines Northern Ireland business. The successful candidate will play a key role in upholding quality standards across operational delivery, ensuring work is completed in line with company, customer and industry requirements. Working closely with project teams, the Operations Lead and the Quality Manager, the Quality Assurance Officer will develop and monitor quality regimes, maintain accurate documentation, identify areas for improvement, and support corrective actions where required. The role will have a strong focus on quality assurance, continuous improvement, quality systems and compliance management, while also supporting audit activities and field verification where required. Key Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement project quality plans, procedures, flow charts and standards across Northern Irish projects. • Conduct regular audits and compliance reviews and periodic field verification activities to ensure adherence to quality standards. • Monitor compliance to identify areas for improvement and highlight defect or operational trends. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and support corrective actions and preventative actions. • Prepare and present quality reports, performance metrics, and quality documentation. • Assist with the development of systemised checks and dashboards, including ArcGIS-based quality controls. • Support the development, implementation and continual improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS). • Train staff on quality assurance processes, quality standards, quality planning and best practice. • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, customer requirements, company policies and internal procedures. • Investigate and resolve customer complaints, including corrective and preventative actions. • Manage quality documentation and accurate record-keeping across projects. • Assist in developing quality improvement initiatives and keep up to date with regulatory changes. • Analyse quality trends, audit findings and non-conformances to identify opportunities for continuous improvement. • Audit subcontractor and supplier QA procedures prior to contract award. Qualifications & Skills Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience. Certification in Quality Assurance or Quality Management, such as Six Sigma or ISO, is desirable. Knowledge Strong understanding of quality management principles, methodologies and tools. Experience with quality management systems (QMS). Knowledge of industry-specific quality standards, regulatory requirements and customer policies. Understanding of quality assurance methodologies, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), QA audits, QC audits, safety files, O&M manuals and project handover documentation. Experience Proven experience in a quality management, quality assurance or related role. Experience working in Power Transmission and Distribution and Overhead Lines is desirable. Experience conducting audits, inspections and compliance checks. Experience preparing reports, performance metrics and quality documentation. Experience working with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and support continuous improvement Experience auditing subcontractor or supplier QA/QC procedures is desirable. Dispensary Assistant
Dispensing and Prescription Processing • Endorse all prescription forms as appropriate. • Label and dispense prescriptions in accordance with SOPs, ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient supply to patients. • Issue prepared prescriptions to patients, ensuring patient details (e.g. name, address, and date of birth) are checked and confirmed prior to supply. • Ensure all medicines and appliances dispensed are checked against the prescription. • Refer any concerns regarding appropriateness, dosage, or labelling to the pharmacist. Customer Service • Handle customer requests confidently and in a timely manner. • Serve and advise customers in a prompt, professional, and courteous manner. • Provide advice and guidance on minor ailments, referring to the pharmacist where appropriate. • Answer telephone enquiries in a professional manner, referring to the pharmacist where appropriate. • Assist with serving customers at the tills as required, including accurate handling of cash and card transactions. • Support patients with queries relating to prescriptions and services. • Demonstrate a friendly, approachable and helpful manner at all times. • Represent the Company positively in all customer interactions. Confidentiality and Data Protection • Maintain strict confidentiality of all patients, prescription, and company information at all times. • Handle personal data in line with GDPR and Company policies. • Ensure sensitive information is only shared with authorised personnel where necessary. • Be mindful of confidentiality when speaking with patients or colleagues, particularly in public or shared areas. Record Keeping and Administration • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all dispensing transactions (e.g. temperature control records/logbooks). • Promptly forward invoices and dispensary-related correspondence to the relevant department. Stock Control and Inventory Management • Receive and store medicines in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions, e.g. ensuring refrigerated items are stored at the correct temperature. • Operate effective stock control systems to ensure continuity of supply and minimise wastage. • Assist with stock takes, where required, ensuring accurate counting and reporting of stock levels. • Assist with shop stock ordering, replenishment and rotation where required. Patient Support and Services • Maintain a system for preparing and supplying compliance aids (e.g. dosette boxes). • Support the delivery of medicine use reviews. • Support patients with repeat prescription requests and collection processes. • Promote and support pharmacy services (e.g. smoking cessation, ear wax removal, period delay treatment). Nursing Home Services Use the electronic system to: Add patients and new care homes. Create and print MAR sheets (monthly and acute items). Generate and print lids and seals. Prepare blister packs and gather PRN/loose medication. Order specials where required. Process and submit reorders (including manual reordering where needed). Add acute medication and manage stock within the system. Count and scan prescriptions for month-end. Pick, label, track, and follow up care home prescriptions. Housekeeping • Ensure all dispensary equipment is clean and in good working order. • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment throughout the dispensary and shop floor, including keeping work surfaces tidy. • Carry out routine cleaning duties (e.g. sweeping, mopping floors, and emptying bins). • Ensure waste is disposed of appropriately in line with Company procedures. • Keep stock areas clean, organised, and free from hazards. • Adhere to all health and safety and infection control procedures.
