QA Compliance Microbiologist
Job Overview We are currently recruiting for the role of QA Compliance Microbiologist within the QA Cleanroom Compliance department. The successful candidate will provide quality oversight to ensure adherence to all aspects of cleanroom behaviours, gowning, aseptic technique, cleaning & disinfection, transfer procedures and facility standards for classified cleanrooms in line with regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will also support with training, evaluation and continuous improvement projects within our aseptic cleanrooms. This role will involve working a 3 shift pattern including days, evenings and nights. About This Role Role Purpose The Head of Facilities and Compliance plays a critical role in leading the facilities team and providing the organisation with a safe and welcoming working environment for its staff. The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring we meet our statutory obligations and organisational goals in the areas of Sustainability, Accessibility and Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission (IHREC) Public Sector Duty. You will be joining Coimisiún na Meán at a very exciting time as the organisation seeks to expand its office space to accommodate an increased staff complement and to design and furnish our office environment to meet the needs of the organisation. About the Facilities Function Reporting into the Director of Governance and Secretariat, the Head of Facilities and Compliance leads one of four teams that make up Coimisiún na Meán’s Corporate Services Division, along with People & Organisational Development, Change & Business Improvement, and Finance & Procurement. The internal Facilities Team comprises a Head of Facilities and Compliance, a Facilities Manager and a Facilities Executive Officer. Services such as cleaning, security and maintenance are outsourced to an external Facilities Management provider, which also provides a number of on-site resources. The Facilities function is responsible for providing a safe and secure working environment for staff, contractors and visitors.
