Eligibility Criteria Statutory Registration, Professional Qualifications, Experience, etc Candidates for appointment must: (i) Be registered, or be eligible for registration, on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU. AND (ii) Have three years full time (or an aggregate of three years) post qualification clinical experience. AND (iii) Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office. AND (iv) Provide proof of Statutory Registration on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU before a contract of employment can be issued. 2. Annual registration (i) On appointment practitioners must maintain annual registration on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU AND (ii) Practitioners must confirm annual registration with CORU to the HSE by way of the annual Patient Safety Assurance Certificate (PSAC). 3. Health Candidates for and any person holding the office must be fully competent and capable of undertaking the duties attached to the office and be in a state of health such as would indicate a reasonable prospect of ability to render regular and efficient service. 4. Clerical Officer Panel for Full-time & Part-time positions. (Minimum 17.5 hours per week - Maximum 35 hours per week. June 2025 The main purpose of the post is to provide clerical cover to departments within the hospital. Due to the nature of the post, duties may vary from department to department. Job duties specific to departments will be made available during the training period. You will be required to be flexible in this position and must be prepared to undertake any other duties as may be assigned to you by your Head of Department/Line Manager dependent on service needs.
