What you’ll do: Reporting directly to the Operations Improvement Manager, the Assistant Production Manager is responsible for ensuring a smooth flow of production on night shift through the paint shop and machine shop to meet the weekly production targets in the most effective manner. Ensuring safety, quality, delivery and cost objectives are achieved. This role requires a strong focus on lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement initiatives, and employee engagement to drive operational excellence. Main Duties & Responsibilities

Dispatch Operator

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Full-Time Dispatch Operator to join our DV8 Online Team in Carn, Portadown. This role is initially offered on a fixed-term basis, with a strong possibility of a permanent position upon successful completion of the probationary period. Working Hours • Operating hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 9:00pm, and Saturday and Sunday, 9:00am to 5:00pm • Shifts will be scheduled within these hours based on business needs. • Evening and weekend shifts are shared across the team and worked on a rotational basis. Key Responsibilities • Picking, packing, and dispatching online customer orders accurately and efficiently • Processing new stock and maintaining high standards within the stockroom • Supporting the team during busy trading periods, including weekends, seasonal Bank Holidays, and occasional evenings • Helping to deliver an exceptional service experience for our online customers About You • Ideally, you have experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment • You understand and follow health and safety procedures • You have a positive attitude and a flexible approach to work • You possess excellent attention to detail • You enjoy working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
