Eligibility Criteria, Qualifications and / or Experience: 1. Statutory Registration, Professional Qualifications, Experience, etc. (a) Eligible applicants will be those who on the closing date for the competition: - (i) Are registered in the Children’s Division of the Register of Nurses & Midwives maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland [NMBI] (Bord Altranais agus Cnáimhseachais na hÉireann) or entitled to be so registered. AND (ii) Have at least 5 years post registration experience (or an aggregate of 5 years full-time post registration experience) of which 2 years must be in the speciality area of Emergency Medicine or related area. AND (iii) Have the clinical, managerial and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role. AND (iv) Candidates must demonstrate evidence of continuous professional development. Human Resources Manager
Remuneration The salary scale for the post as of 01/03/2025 is: €81,444, – €82,175, – €85,389, – €88,616, – €91,818, – €95,033, – €98,231. New appointees to any grade start at the minimum point of the scale. Incremental credit will be applied for recognised relevant service in Ireland and abroad (Department of Health Circular 2/2011). Incremental credit is normally granted on appointment in respect of previous experience in the Civil Service, Local Authorities, Health Service, and other Public Service Bodies and Statutory Agencies. Reporting Relationship The post holder will have a direct reporting relationship to the Hospital Manager, Regional Hospital Mullingar. Purpose of the Post The HR Manager will be responsible for leading the development, delivery, and implementation of the HR function at Regional Hospital Mullingar, including management of medical workforce function. OVERALL ROLE OBJECTIVE: The BDM will be responsible for sales and market development of Almac Diagnostic Services’ portfolio within the Pharma & Biotech sectors. JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: The post holder will: Grow Almac Diagnostic Services' base of business within the Pharma and Biotech market sector by promoting and selling Almac’s biomarker services, including the management of and expansion within existing key accounts, and through prospecting for new clients. Key account management of existing and new accounts, ensuring Almac’s services are delivered satisfactorily and to maximise visibility for the identification of new leads and qualification of new opportunities. Ownership and demonstrable execution of agreed key account initiatives and plans. Develop prospecting strategies, execute and manage a business development and sales plan for the market sector. Convert prospects to revenue-generating clients by having a deep understanding of their immediate and future project requirements, ensuring Almac’s service and consultancy solutions are communicated and presented coherently. Understand the roles and influences of the project stakeholders, their decision-making schedule, and procurement processes. Report and feedback revenue pipeline and results. As a key member of Almac’s global business development team, contribute to the evolution and refinement of business development strategy. Report on monthly KPIs. The Role The role will assist the Group Accountant to produce high quality financial information in a timely manner for our international Group of Companies - including Dreams and Sofatime both in NI and ROI, Skyline Direct Ltd (a financial institution regulated by the FCA) and multiple commercial property management companies. The successful candidate will learn the key skills of an international commercial business and maintaining the accuracy of internal reporting. Day To Day Will Involve: Assist with the month end close and management accounts preparation. Bank reconciliations, accruals and prepayments, follow up of review points, ad-hoc journal preparation and input, intercompany reconciliations, fixed asset accounting inc. assets under construction, hire purchase accounting, accounting for loans, foreign exchange. Balance sheet reconciliations. Reporting to internal and external stakeholders. Assisting in audit preparation. Various ad-hoc tasks and projects. What You Need To Succeed: Part Qualified Accountant – ACA/ACCA/CIMA (audit and accounts background preferable). Excellent teamwork skills. Effective communication skills.
