About the Role This is a great opportunity to join the Local Government Management Agency (LGMA) at a time of transformation and innovation both in the Agency, and across the wider local government sector. The Information Security Officer – Grade 7 will work as part of the Internal IT section of the LGMA which is involved with the management and support of all technologies for the staff of the LGMA. The Internal IT team is part of the Digital, ICT and Cybersecurity pillar of the LGMA. The successful candidate will be part of the Internal IT team and will report directly to the Project Manager Grade 8. They will work closely with colleagues in the team in relation to the performance of their duties. They will also work with local authorities, external service providers, external agencies, and other stakeholders to deliver the actions set out in the work programme. The role will have responsibility for improving the security posture of the agency.
