SECTION 1: ROLE Cork County Council invites applications from suitably qualified persons who wish to be considered for inclusion on a panel from which vacancies for District Supervisor, Roads, Transportation and Area Services Kanturk or Mallow Municipal District may be filled. SECTION 2: DUTIES The District Supervisor duties shall include, but are not limited to, the following: Supervise, motivate and direct staff in his or her area and all works in their charge, including organising and planning work such as surface dressing, pavement overlays, wet mix, road strengthening and repairs, road maintenance, drainage works, pipe laying, repairs to bridges and culverts, general concrete works, footpaths, and maintenance of public amenities (including public facilities, public spaces and graveyards), or any other works.
