Responsibilities · Carrying out the daily order picking + dispatching of goods. · Unloading containerized goods on a daily basis. · Barcoding and scanning all stock movements from goods in to dispatch. · Understand, implement, and carry out all Company policies, procedures, and Health & Safety standards. Skills and Qualifications · Experience in a busy warehouse is an advantage but more important is that the candidate demonstrates initiative and an aptitude to learn quickly. · Current forklift licence for reach and counter balance (if not, training will be provided). · Current manual handling certificate (if not, training will be provided). · Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when loading and unloading goods. · Strong communication and interpersonal skills. · Please note that this role will require a significant amount of manual handling and is physically demanding as heavy lifting is involved on a daily basis. This role is responsible for accurately picking and assembling customer orders using handheld scanning equipment, ensuring products are handled safely and efficiently. As part of a healthcare distribution environment, you will play an important role in supporting the timely delivery of essential products to customers while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and Good Distribution Practice (GDP). Responsibilities . High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required. Less than 2 years of experience in warehouse support, distribution operations, shipping, receiving, inventory control, material handling, or a related field required. Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), or equivalent certification preferred. Knowledge in warehouse operations processes, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, staging, and shipping. Knowledge in inventory control principles, stock movement tracking, and material traceability requirements. Knowledge in temperature-controlled handling and cold chain support requirements for sensitive products and materials. Knowledge in packaging materials, reusable shipping assets, and replenishment practices within warehouse operations. Knowledge in shipment documentation, operational recordkeeping, and transaction processing requirements. Knowledge in safe material handling practices and the use of warehouse equipment and tools. Ability to follow established warehouse procedures and standardized work instructions. Ability to maintain accurate records and update operational information in warehouse systems and logs. Ability to identify inventory, packaging, shipment, and material handling exceptions for further action. Ability to support timely and accurate order preparation and material movement activities. Ability to manage multiple routine tasks across warehouse workflows while maintaining accuracy. Ability to work with temperature-sensitive materials in line with defined handling requirements.
