Phlebotomist – Oxford – (Job Ref: 26/OXFF) Randox Health continues to be at the forefront of clinical diagnostics, dedicated to improving health worldwide with our disruptive technology and innovative diagnostic solutions. Location : 35 Queen St, Oxford, OX1 1ER. Contract Offered : Full-time, permanent Working Hours / Shifts : 8.40am to 5.20pm, alternating weekly between a Monday to Friday and Tuesday to Saturday shift pattern. These shifts are subject to change. For this position, as you may be in contact with live blood samples, you must be vaccinated against Hepatitis B or be able to get it following a successful interview stage. In line with Care Quality Commission guidelines, the successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check. Right to Work Requirement Please note that this role requires candidates to have the legal right to work in the UK for a minimum of 12 months from the application date. This is to ensure completion of our 9-month probationary period and for any potential sponsorship decisions to be considered. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship at the point of hire. What does the Phlebotomist role involve? This role is responsible for ensuring customers have an excellent experience from the moment they enter our clinic, taking blood samples from both private and corporate clients. This is a varied role that may also include the following responsibilities: • Conduct comprehensive client appointments, including blood and urine sample collection, personal health measurements, and data entry into our Patient Information Systems (PIS). • Demonstrate sensitive communication to ensure client understanding and consent. • Maintain accurate records in PIS, uploading all relevant documentation. • Represent the company professionally at offsite events and appointments. • Engage in upselling and cross-selling at our private health clinic. • Proactively drive sales and exceed targets. • Complete company forms, specimen labelling, and laboratory test order forms accurately. • Demonstrate high IT literacy in order to manager various software systems and daily tasks. Essential criteria: • Previous Phlebotomy experience and certificate or equivalent training. • Confident using IT programmes. • Flexibility with working hours, as required by the business inclusive of evenings and weekends. • Flexibility to work from offsite locations at least once per month. • Excellent communication skills. • Currently have the right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship. Desirable: • Experience in a private healthcare setting. • Experience in customer service. • 6 months experience in Phlebotomy. • Sales / Retail experience. • Valid UK driving licence.
Design Engineer, KTP Associate
The College is seeking applications for a Design Engineer - KTP Associate to be based with Grove Mechanical Services Limited, Toomebridge and across their various sites on a fixed-term basis for 2 years. The postholder will lead the delivery of a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) project between Grove Mechanical and North West Regional College (NWRC). The postholder will develop and embed an advanced workflow to enhance Grove Mechanical’s digital delivery capability. The role will focus on transforming how site data is captured, analysed and integrated into structured BIM and Digital Twin environments to improve coordination, decision-making, installation planning and commercial competitiveness. The role will contribute to Grove Mechanical’s strategic digital development, including preparation for ISO 19650-aligned BIM accreditation and the structured implementation of information management processes. Senior Jigsaw Clinician
POSITION SUMMARY: Senior Jigsaw Clinicians offer short-term therapeutic supports to young people aged 12-25 years who are experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties. This usually involves 1:1 work with the young person and sometimes it can include other family members as well. Our senior clinicians come from diverse professional backgrounds encompassing qualifications in social work, occupational therapy, mental health nursing, clinical/counselling/educational psychology, and psychotherapy, and they work as part of transdisciplinary teams based at one of our 15 services across the country. All of our clinicians share the same scope of practice to support the goals of our young people in a collaborative, respectful, and evidence-informed manner while drawing on their own unique training, experience, and skills. As senior members of the clinical team, Senior Jigsaw Clinicians assume leadership responsibilities, as appropriate, and work closely with the Clinical Manager in ensuring safe, effective, high quality service provision. Additionally, senior clinicians are involved in health promotion, youth engagement, service development, and advocacy. All of our senior clinicians benefit from frequent and supportive clinical supervision alongside a comprehensive programme of continuing professional development.
