Annual Leave Entitlement : 33 days Overview of the Post: To work as a senior member of the interdisciplinary team providing services to children aged 0-18 years and families within the region. The post holder will be responsible for the provision of a speech & language therapy service to include assessment diagnostics and intervention, clinical supervision and ongoing service delivery to children with a range of disabilities. The post holder will be required to work across a variety of settings including the clinic, schools, preschools and special schools, children’s homes and community settings. The successful candidate will have Essential Criteria: · Be registered, or be eligible for registration, as a Speech & Language Therapist by the Speech & Language Therapists Registration Board at CORU; AND · Have 3 years’ full time (or an aggregate of 3 years’ full time) post qualification clinical experience; AND · Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office; AND · Provide proof of Statutory Registration on the Speech & Language Therapist Register maintained by the Speech & Language Therapists Registration Board at CORU before a contract of employment can be issued. Annual registration · On appointment, practitioners must maintain annual registration on the Speech & Language Therapists Register maintained by the Speech & Language Therapists Registration Board at CORU.
