Interim Discipline Manager, Principal Psychologist, Children's Disability Network Teams Full-time 12 month Fixed Term Contract (1 WTE 35 hours) The Children’s Disability Network Manager (CDNM) is the Operational Line Manager for the Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT). The Interim Principal Psychologist will work in collaboration with CDNMs in the Health Region and other Discipline Managers in CDNTS, Primary Care and CAMHS to ensure particular elements as set out in this Job Specification and that emerge as service priorities are progressed. The Interim Prinicipal Psychologist is appointed to provide professional leadership, guidance, and support to Psychology staff within a multidisciplinary service model. Their service focuses on developing high-quality, integrated services for children with complex needs and their families, ensuring professional standards are maintained, and collaborating with other key services like Primary Care and CAMHS. The Interim Principal Psychologist will facilitate continuous quality improvement, manage clinical pathways, contribute to the development of policies and procedures, and provide support in managing issues such as referral intake, caseloads, and staff development. The main focus of the role initially will be continuous improvement, clinical governance and service development and the role will report to the Kaizen Lead as part of the Kaizen Promotion Office. This is also an exciting opportunity for professional development with specific training provided to support you in this role in Lean methodology.
