The Organisation The Traveller Counselling Service was set up in 2008 to provide one-to-one counselling and therapeutic support to members of the Traveller community. Overseen by a Board of Management, the service is run by Travellers for Travellers and works from a culturally inclusive framework which respects Traveller culture, identity, values, and norms. The service has now expanded to include Community Development Work and Advocacy Work, and offers counselling in person, by phone and online, nationwide. We are currently recruiting for a Traveller Mental Health Programme Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be a motivated, dynamic, self-starter who can manage, lead, develop and promote a series of mental health community development projects nationwide, as well as the Travellers Transforming Conflict Initiative. The position is Dublin-based and full-time, and will involve nationwide travel. Duties and Responsibilities • Develop and coordinate national mental health engagement initiatives with Traveller organisations and community stakeholders across Ireland; • Design, implement and oversee peer-led mental health surveys, data collection initiatives and community consultation programmes to inform service delivery and policy development; • Establish, support and monitor regional Traveller mental health steering groups, ensuring effective governance, reporting and programme implementation; • Provide specialist community development and mental health support expertise in furtherance of the strategic objectives of the Travellers Counselling Service; • Support the delivery and expansion of the Travellers Transforming Conflict Initiative through programme coordination, stakeholder engagement and inter-agency collaboration; • Conduct research and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base of mental health, social inclusion and community support services available to Travellers nationwide; • Prepare reports, programme evaluations and strategic recommendations relating to Traveller mental health needs, service access and community engagement outcomes; • Liaise with statutory agencies, healthcare providers, NGOs and community organisations to improve referral pathways and access to culturally appropriate mental health supports; • Deliver training, awareness and outreach initiatives relating to Traveller mental health, social inclusion and conflict transformation; and • Promote the work, objectives and services of the organisation at local and national level through professional engagement and partnership development. We are currently seeking highly-motivated Adult Day Services Manager (CNM2) to join our team in Enable Ireland Adult Services, West Limerick (Newcastlewest/Rathkeale) Contract Type: Full Time Permanent Contract Contract Hours: 37.5 Hours per week Salary Scale : €58,245 to €69,260 Pro rata per annum, Salary scales are subject to LSI’s (Long Service Increments) This pay scale is subject to increases in 2026 in accordance with the recent WRC agreement towards enhanced pay adjustments in Section 39 organisations Annual Leave Entitlement: 34 Days pro rata per annum Overview of the Post: The Adult Day Services Manager with Nursing Duties will be responsible for the development, management, and delivery of a range of adult day services, existing and planned in the assigned region. This includes responsibility for the management of staffing, budgets, and the provision of the highest standards of care and support to the adults using the services. This will consist of planning, developing, managing, and reviewing services in line with the identified needs in the area and aligned to Enable Ireland’s Strategic Plan and model of service delivery. The Adult Day Services Manager with Nursing Duties will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and the implementation of Enable Ireland policies and procedures, ensuring that services are person-centred and in line with best practice ensuring a high standard of clinical care is maintained. The Adult Day Services Manager with Nursing Duties will line manage and provide support and supervision and ensure appropriate training is delivered to the staff team across the service locations assigned. About the Role: The Local Service Manager , you will play a vital role in supporting people with Acquired Brain Injury to live full, independent lives – whether at our residential services or out in the community. You will lead a dedicated team of Team Leaders, and Rehabilitation Assistants, fostering a collaborative and person-centred approach to daily support. Your leadership will help shape meaningful services that respond to each individual's goals and needs. Along with leading the local team, you will be a key member in an interdisciplinary team, collaborating with specialists from across the ABI Ireland Organisation to deliver coordinated, person-centred rehabilitation.
