Position Summary This role provides the job holder with an opportunity to develop their career under Teleflex’s Graduate Development Program leading to an opportunity to learn and grow and establishing an exciting pathway in Strategic Human Resource Management within Teleflex. Our HR Graduate will be empowered to develop decision making and communication skills. Within our Graduate Development Program, the HR Graduate will be involved in initiatives that are focused on developing our people; supporting our workforce, managing our compensation and benefits, promoting diversity, equity & inclusivity, prioritizing employee recognition, health & safety and wellbeing. Principal Responsibilities Key responsibilities will include (but are not limited) to the following: • Provide front line HR support to the assigned Value Streams and key business stakeholders gaining exposure to: o Recruitment & Selection o Training & Development o Employee Relations o Performance Management • An opportunity to work with employee engagement initiatives and HR projects. • Ensure the HR systems (HRIS, C&B, Service Award, Training system etc) are up to date for their areas of responsibility and inputting compensation changes accordingly. • Coordinating GMP, H&S, Non-Conformances, and Manual Handling Training on the Reliance/Compliance Wire platforms. • Maintain human resources records and files as required. • Assist in delivery of induction programme to new employees. • Issuing of probation reviews, contracts, policies, and relevant documents as needed. Education / Experience Requirements • Third level degree in a business /HR / Training related discipline • Previous experience of working within a fast-paced HR department is desirable • Previous experience of co-ordinating and delivering training needs • Good understanding of employment law, natural justice and appreciation of fairness • Good understanding of employee engagement, motivation and Leadership • Planning and Organisation skills – Ability to manage own time. • High commitment to confidentiality. • Ability to multi-task and work on own initiative • Ability to drive projects to completion • Understanding of HR Processes, Recruitment, Development, Communications, employee engagement, Industrial relations, employee relations. • Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, excellent follow-through and the ability to multi-task. • Continuous improvement approach towards work processes. • Approachable, professional and able to work in a highly confidential environment. • Strong computer literacy skills. Specialized Skills / Other Requirements • Ability to work in a fluid, demanding environment • Understanding and appreciation of Teleflex ethics standards • Thorough understanding of Teleflex processes and products • Ability to understand customer relationships • Ability to generate appropriate relationships with customers • Ability to deal with difficult customer’s communications • Ability to influence customers where necessary
