Overview of the Role: The Automation Engineer will be assisting with the completion and quality of work on both tender and contract projects. He/she will be involved in tendering, design and installation of various projects in Veolia’s water, wastewater, energy and waste industries. Will co-ordinate with the EICA team to ensure all projects are programmed to the highest standards. Working as part of the team structure, the Intern works as part of a team to design, program and commission allocated projects, from initial control philosophies to site installation. Within a supportive, friendly and challenging environment, you’ll have the chance to work on some exciting projects, whilst learning from a team of talented people and leading experts. What’s more, you’ll be provided with the freedom to push boundaries and constantly learn and develop your skill-set. Playing an integral role within the EICA Team, you’ll have the opportunity to work on projects across a wide range of sectors, including industrial, pharmaceutical, healthcare and municipal. Day to day of the role: Please note: ​If you are an EU/EEA national, you will be asked to show proof of right to work in Ireland. If you are a non-EU/EEA national , you will require current and valid permission to work and reside in the Republic of Ireland. The successful Logistics Intern will gain exposure to the 3 elements which make up Logistics at Lidl (People, Processes and Operations). Offering customers the best quality products at the lowest possible prices puts Logistics at Lidl at the forefront of our business. The route from our Regional Distribution Centres to our Stores means that our operations must be lean and agile. In essence, Logistics at Lidl provides the right product in the right place at the right in the most cost-efficient manner possible. This internship will run from March 2026 to August 2026 The role Choosing the best place to gain practical and relevant experience during your internship is important. After all, you want to be sure that wherever you go, you’ll be creating the very best start to your future career. That's why Internships in Lidl have been designed and developed to get you involved and give you more opportunities to show what you’re capable of. Every Internship has a bespoke structured training plan for the duration of the placement (26 weeks), support from your Line Manager and regular meetings with the Internship Programme Manager. You'll also be asked to complete a presentation at the end following successful completion of your placement to demonstrate what you've learned and how you've developed.
