Liaison -There are several key relationships, which should be fostered and developed for the successful implementation of this role. Liaise and coordinate with other identified Home carers as required and maintain close communication with the ALS Coordinator / Scheduling staff Training and Qualifications, required Full Major Award at QQI Level 5 in either Community & Health Services, Health Service Skills or Healthcare Support or other relevant qualification and a commitment to complete the major award. Experience of working with people in a caring role ( essential) Be reliable, trustworthy, and always maintain confidentiality Demonstrate excellent communication skills with a good level of spoken and written English Full driver's licence and access to your own car ( essential) . Individual site /location will be indicated at expression of interest stage to panel members for each individual job. All applicants will be given the opportunity, at the time of application, to indicate an IHA preference area. Candidates successful at interview will be placed on the regional panel in order of merit. Where vacancies arise, posts will be expressed to the panel as follows: 1. IHA Preference Area Vacancies will initially be expressed to candidates who have selected the IHA preference area in which the vacancy arises, in order of merit. 2. Regional Panel Where a vacancy remains unfilled, an expression of interest will then be issued to the full regional panel, in order of merit, regardless of IHA preference. The Dietician will be responsible for the provision of a high quality, person-centred Dietician service to a designated clinical area(s) and will carry out clinical and educational duties as assigned by the Senior Dietician / Dietician Manager.
