We are presently recruiting for a permanent and temporary Social Care Workers to work in our Community Support Service. We currently provide supports to 37 people with an intellectual disability to live as independently as possible in their own home in their chosen community. These supports enable the person to be an active and valued member of their community. The successful Social Care Worker candidate must have the following: Qualifications required · QQI Level 7 Bachelor of Arts in Applied Social Studies (Disability) - Open Training College; · Level 7 award in Social Care/Studies delivered by an Institute of Technology, DIT or National University of Ireland; · A qualification received outside the State recognised by NARIC as equivalent to the Irish Level 7 award. Occupational Guidance/ Day Opportunities Officers provide people with Disabilities with the appropriate guidance, support and direction concerning Rehabilitative Training and Day Service options that best suits their needs.
