GUIDE SHOP MANAGER (Part Time – 4 Days) Irish Girl Guides (IGG) is recruiting a manager for the Guide Shop and Distribution Centre based at National Training Centre in Tallaght. The Guide shop sells uniforms and badges plus other merchandise primarily to members of the organisation via online and click and collect sales. The focus of this role is the administration of the systems and processes behind the retail work with emphasis on accounts admin. Key Objectives of the role Accounts Responsibilities · Managing day-to-day finance tasks: processing invoices, verifying accuracy, timely payments, purchase orders, and data entry (Sage 50) ·Sales Order Processing including stock and purchase management ·Build supplier relationships and source new suppliers ·Preparing monthly reconciliations, salary data, and Finance Committee reports ·Supporting year-end accounts prep for auditors ·Monitor and propose price changes in stock ·Bi Annual Inventory Check ·Liaising with the Senior Accounts Administrator to resolve payment discrepancies or issues Customer Service Responsibilities ·Ensure and deliver the highest standard of customer service to every customer via phone and email ·Track orders and process customer returns ·Support Guide Shop Assistants during busy periods and holiday cover Other Responsibilities ·Liaise with CEO and Finance Committee on budget and pricing policies ·Other ad hoc duties as requested by the Chief Commissioner or line manager ·Operate within the policies and procedures of IGG ·Awareness, knowledge and understanding of the ethos, culture and practice of Irish Girl Guides and be able to promote accordingly Key Essentials ·Previous accounts experience essential ·Ability to always communicate with team members and suppliers in an effective, pleasant, courteous and tactful manner ·Proficient in the use of MS Excel and Word ·Good knowledge of Sage 50 accounts or similar accounting and stock control package ·Knowledge of uploading content to WordPress would be an advantage but not essential ·High level of integrity and rapid following up of all tasks is key ·Great customer service and team work Benefits Application: If you wish to be considered for this position, please submit a letter of application together with a copy of your CV to Karina Early by 11 August at 5pm.
