Clinical Nurse Manager, Childrens Services

We are currently seeking a highly-motivated Clinical Nurse Manager 1 to join our team in Cork Childrens Services, Curraheen, Cork. Contract Type: Permanent Contract Hours: Part-time (18.75 hrs) per week Salary Scale: €26,733 to €31,700 per annum. This pay scale is subject to increases in 2026 in accordance with the recent WRC agreement towards enhanced pay adjustments in Section 39 organisations. Annual Leave Entitlement : 34-37 days pro rata per annum and pro-rata for part time hours Overview of the Post: The Clinical Nurse Manager will be responsible for leading a dedicated team in delivering quality standards of care and support to provide support to children with physical and sensory support needs, ID and Autism. The successful candidate will work as part of our inter-disciplinary team delivering a coordinated approach to children/young people from 0-18 years across all disabilities under the Lead Agency of Enable Ireland. The CNM will be required to work as key contact for particular cases and be involved in the IFSP process for these children and families. The CNM will ensure a high standard of clinical care is maintained, including assessment, intervention, and training and ongoing service delivery. Overview of Duties & Responsibilities: Please see Job Description for full list The successful candidate will have Essential Criteria: · A recognised validated University Degree or an equivalent qualification in Nursing. · Are registered in the relevant division of the Register of Nurses & Midwives maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland [NMBI]. And · Have at least 3 years post registration fulltime experience (or an aggregate of 3 years post registration full time experience) of which 1 year post registration full time experience (or an aggregate of 1 years post registration full time experience) must be in working with children with disabilities, (physical disability, autism, learning disability) and their families. And · Have the clinical, managerial and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role.
