Purpose of the Role The successful candidate will work in The Alders Unit, a specialist child sexual abuse service. The appointee will be responsible for providing social work supports to children and families impacted by child sexual abuse. This is an exciting opportunity to join the growing multidisciplinary team as a Senior Social Worker, to participate in the delivery of assessments and provision of therapeutic interventions to children and their families attending the service. The post holder will be an integral member of the MDT and as part of their role will be required to attend case conferences, MDT meetings and other professional meetings. Eligibility Criteria, Qualifications and / or Experience: 1. Statutory Registration, Professional Qualifications, Experience, etc (a) Eligible applicants will be those who on the closing date for the competition: - (i) Be a registered Midwife on the active Register of Nurses & Midwives held by An Bord Altranais agus Cnáimhseachais na hÉireann (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland) or be eligible to be so registered. AND (ii) Be registered in the Midwife Division of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (Bord Altranais agus Cnáimhseachais na hÉireann) Register for which the application is being made or be entitled to be so registered. OR (iii) In exceptional circumstances, which will be assessed on a case by case basis be registered in another Division of the register of Nurses & Midwives. For Pregnancy Loss / Bereavement Care prior to application* (See Note 1 below) . AND (vii) Be required to demonstrate that they have continuing professional development (CPD) relevant to the specialist area. AND (viii) Have the ability to practice safely and effectively fulfilling his / her professional responsibility within his / her scope of practice. *Note 1: For Midwives who express an interest in CMS roles and who currently hold a level 8 educational qualification in the specialist area (equivalent to 60 ECTS or above), this qualification will be recognised up to September 2026. What you will do: Customer Engagement – Provide exceptional customer service by offering knowledgeable guidance on products, fostering positive interactions to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty while effectively promoting all Fressnapf|Maxi Zoo products. Brand Integrity - Achieve targets keeping the pets needs at the forefront of everything we do. Ensuring that the animals entrusted to us are well cared for at all times, and that the welfare of the animal comes first. Merchandise and Inventory - Curate an enticing shopping experience for all pet parents with impeccably stocked shelves withfull product availability on the shelves in order to minimise inventory discrepancies, maintain high inventory quality. Personal Development - Proactively engage in personal and professional development, in consultation with the store manager, while adhering to specified staff training timelines.
