Solas Hospital School is co-located with Children’s Health Ireland, Crumlin. As a hospital school we deliver education across various hospital settings, including both 1:1 sessions at the bedside and small multi-level groups in classroom settings. We provide an education service to children aged 4 to 18 yrs and across the full spectrum of educational needs. To qualify for appointment candidates must be able to comply with the following: ·Be fully registered with the Teaching Council under Route 2 (Post Primary) for one of the following subject areas: Science or English. ·Experience teaching in a medical setting with students with medical needs is desirable ·Experience supporting students in alternative or special education settings is beneficial.
