The role of a Team Leader The person appointed will be responsible for leading a Day Service team as part of the Waterford Services. The person appointed should have the ability to proactively lead the team and inspire and motivate the ongoing development of effective teamwork. The team will facilitate the choices of and deliver supports to people who use services incorporating activities such as independent living skills, community integration, personal development, occupational and leisure activities within the context of the New Direction Model of Service Delivery. Warehouse Assistant
Mulligans Pharmacy is a family-run business, established in 1957, that operates in the retail pharmacy sector and occupies 18 sites and 2 cafés across the southeast of Ireland. We pride ourselves on being a community-based pharmacy group that puts our customers first. We are currently recruiting for a warehouse assistant 3-5 days a week in the Waterford area. [Forklift licence preferred but not essential] [Drivers licence essential] DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Receiving & Inspecting Deliveries: Accept deliveries, verify items against invoices or packing slips, and check for damage or discrepancies. Inventory Management: Accurately label, store, and track stock using inventory systems. Conduct regular stock takes and report variances. Picking & Packing Orders: Select items according to pick lists, pack goods securely, and prepare stock for dispatch to all branches. Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload goods from trucks or containers using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques. Maintaining Cleanliness: Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and free of hazards. Dispose of packaging and waste appropriately. Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse machinery (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) in line with safety standards. Health & Safety Compliance: Follow all safety procedures and report hazards, accidents, or equipment issues immediately. Documentation & Reporting: Complete delivery notes, stock movement logs, and any relevant paperwork accurately. Team Collaboration: Work effectively with warehouse staff, delivery drivers, and other departments to ensure smooth operations. Branch Administrator
The Waterford Branch of Down Syndrome Ireland is now recruiting for a part time Branch Administrator to join the Team. We are dedicated to enabling people with Down syndrome to live life to the fullest. We aim to do this throughout their life through social, educational, and developmental activities. Working as a member of the Clare Branch Team, you will be involved in the development and delivery of a dynamic, volunteer led service for the Down Syndrome Community in the county. As Branch Administrator, you will actively engage with members, families, carers, and stakeholders in providing a strong service for our membership. Responsibilities: The Branch Administrator will have working relationships with people inside and outside the Branch. It will demand working with the public, members, families, carers, staff and volunteers of the Branch. Hours & Location: This is a part time position working 15 hours per week. Hours of work will be between 10 am – 1 pm 3 days per week on a fixed term 3 month contract. Occasional weekend and evening work will be required to facilitate branch committee meetings and branch social events. This role will be based on on-site working. Salary €11,700 per annum
