Glanbia Performance NutritionBusiness Manager (Retail)Role SummaryGlanbia Performance Nutrition have a vacancy for a Business Manager (retail) to Lead and shape the Retail &amp; Convenience channel strategy for the Irish market. This is a permanent role, reporting to the Commercial Lead for Ireland and is based in our Citywest Office, Dublin 24. This is a hybrid role and requires the following split: WFH Based - 40%, Field Based - 30%, Office Based - 30% (Dublin).Key Elements of the Role<ul><li>Lead and shape the Retail &amp; Convenience channel strategy for the Irish market.</li><li>Build and develop new and existing business within the Irish Retail channel.</li><li>Work with category management to ensure GPN is the go to supplier for customers to develop their H&amp;W categories.</li><li>Build strong relationships with key industry contacts.</li><li>Build out, cost and appropriate promotional and support plans by customer.</li><li>Work with customer &amp; trade marketing to develop appropriate marketing support plans.</li><li>Work with demand forecasting, finance, customer service to ensure both internal and external needs are met.</li><li>Work with our 3rd party field sales partner to ensure our Head office plans are executed brilliantly in store.</li></ul>Requirements/Skills and Experience<ul><li>Minimum 3 years’ customer management experience including managing key customers; Tesco, Dunnes, Musgraves, BWG, Discounters etc.</li><li>Experience managing a field sales team and/or managing a 3rd party field sales partner.</li><li>Ability to influence both cross functionally and at a senior level.</li><li>Self- starter, highly motivated and ambitious.</li><li>Ability to work to stretching targets in a dynamic industry.</li><li>Highly numerate.</li><li>Ability to plan effectively, but also think on their feet.</li><li>High energy, high creativity and good ability to problem solve.</li><li>Interest in sport or health and fitness a positive.</li><li>Bachelors Degree or equivalent qualification.</li><li>Full Clean Driving Licence.</li></ul>Key Challenges &amp; Success Measures<ul><li>Identifying new opportunities.</li><li>Launching new products with existing &amp; new customers.</li><li>Project management of new product launches.</li><li>Growing the existing customers and achieving set targets.</li><li>Developing new business and new customers.</li><li>Working within a KPI framework.</li></ul><ul><li>Working across geographic boundaries and building key relationships.</li></ul><ul><li>Ability to build and balance a diverse customer base.</li><li>Working as part of a bigger team to deliver the strategy &amp; overall target for the Irish business.</li><li>Optimizing margin growth for the Retail &amp; Convenience channels through managing the product mix</li></ul>Competencies<ul><li>Dealing with ambiguity</li></ul><ul><li>Interpersonal Savvy</li><li>Business Acumen</li><li>Drive for Results</li></ul>
