Role Title : Off-site Warehouse OperativeBusiness Unit : DHL Global ForwardingLocation : Robinhood RoadScope of Role: Load and unload all product moves to &amp; from the off site warehouse Days &amp; Hours of Work: 8am – 4.30 Mon to Thurs , 8am to 3.30 FriAccountabilitiesKey activitiesKey Accountabilities<ul><li>Load / unload all inbound / outbound shipments</li><li>Operate inventory management system</li><li>Adhere to DGF H&amp;S policy</li><li>Maximise warehouse space utilisation</li><li>Operate machinery as required (10 Tonne forklift etc)</li><li>Partake in cycle counts and stock checks as required</li><li>Takes part in all cleaning functions daily and signs off check sheet</li><li>Ensures contracted suppliers comply with company quality procedures</li><li>Maintains pro-active communication/relationship with</li><li>peers/superiors and especially informs superior immediately</li><li>of discrepancies, problems or non-performance or non</li><li>observance</li><li>Label Import / Export freight as required.</li><li>Load &amp; Offload domestic and international vehicles, mark manifests and notify discrepancies and damages.</li><li>Complete any warehouse related documentation is completed for operations</li><li>Action Operational irregularities / customer complaints, and implement corrective actions</li><li>Ensures good housekeeping, bins emptied daily</li><li>Ordering, stock control, maintenance of warehouse supplies / equipment</li><li>Monitors day to day H&amp;S in the warehouse and highlight areas of concern</li><li>Facilitates customer &amp; quality audits</li><li>Ensure all import/export manifests and trailer check sheets are printed off for each load.</li><li>When trailers are loaded/offloaded make sure that both manifest sheets are marked with any discrepancies and signed by the person that offloaded the trailer.</li><li>Ensures that all health and safety guidelines and procedures are kept to.
