GALWAY JOB REF: 81096 The Role: Support Workers provide a key-working supportive role for a group of people supported by the services. This role comprises of two main elements. Firstly, the Support Worker is responsible for ensuring high quality provision of supports to people who use Day services in line with current New Directions policy. This includes supporting individuals where required in a range of daily living skills which aim to build on people supported independence in line with their will and preference. This can include but is not limited to support in areas of Food and nutrition, personal development and other related aspects of physical well-being, to the extent required by the individual.
