It encompasses both managerial and administrative responsibilities. There s a requirement to act as an FOI decision-maker and to support efforts to enhance MRHT’s data protection compliance. In this regard, the role will involve excellent organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure in order to deliver to consistent, high-quality standards within predetermined legislative timescales. There is also a requirement to act as Complaints Officer to ensure that the complaints management process is implemented and being adhered to within the Hospital environment and that the rights and legitimate interests of service users and staff are protected. In this regard the post holder will be required to support staff and service users in the implementation of the complaints management process. The Consumer and Legal Affairs Manager will act as the key link between the hospital and the state claims agency and external legal teams including translating legal advice into practical actions within the hospital setting.
