The Role: The Asset Operations function forms the cornerstone of service delivery to customers, protecting the environment and meeting regulatory standards as well as managing the majority of operational expenditure. The Asset Operations function has responsibility for operational and maintenance strategy, policies, planning and standard operating procedures for Water and Wastewater operations both nationally and regionally, ensuring that value for money and customer service is delivered. The Regional Operations team is responsible for the regional delivery of water and wastewater operational services through the operation, inspection, maintenance & repair of the treatment and network assets. The senior craftworker will have a remit over a geographical area and is responsible for delivering planned and reactive maintenance activities. Uisce Éireann is seeking to recruit senior craftworkers across various disciplines including Instrumentation, Control & Automation/ Mechanical & Electrical/Plumbing – see Main Duties and Responsibilities section. Out of hours working will be required and appropriate overtime and standby rates will apply. We are currently recruiting for craft positions across Clare. Location: Cregoran Adult Services provides a combination of campus and community based services to adults with varying support needs, based on personal outcome measures. Our services are currently undergoing a transition from a campus based service to community living, where we aim to create opportunities for the people we support to be valued citizens in their communities and to have everyday life experiences. Our focus is to form a partnership with the people we support and their families to ensure each individual live their best life. This role will be based out of Value Centre Ennis to work for one of our preferred partners, Newman Logistics. The driver will be responsible for delivering products to our customers in the designated routes. A core requirement of the role will be strong interpersonal skills and the appetite to deliver a quality service, on time to our customers.
