Contract Type: Permanent Contract Hours: 35 hours Salary Scale: €57,999 to €101,437pro rata per annum. Salary scales are subject to LSI’s (Long Service Increments) Annual Leave Entitlement : 34 days pro rata per annum Overview of the Post: Enable Ireland delivers children’s services through the Children’s Disability Network Teams (CDNT) under the national Progressing Disabilities Services (PDS) model for children and young people with complex needs arising from a disability. The post holder will be responsible for the provision of a range of Psychologist services for young people (0 – 18 years) and their families within an interdisciplinary framework. Service will include assessment and intervention, clinical supervision and ongoing service development. This will be delivered through a family centred approach across a variety of settings including the clinic, preschools, schools, children’s homes and community settings. Have a university degree or diploma · (QQ1 level 8 equivalent) obtained with 1st or 2nd class honours in which Psychology was taken as a major subject and honours obtained in that subject And · ii. Have an Irish post-graduate professional psychology qualification accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland in Clinical, Counselling or Educational Psychology Or · An equivalent qualification from another jurisdiction validated by the Department of Health. And · iii. Demonstrate competence in the Care Group/s applied for. And · iv. Applicants with a clinical or counselling psychology qualification must demonstrate that they have acquired in appropriate health settings, for the area / areas for which they wish to apply - Disability (Child and Adult), Child Psychology, Adult Psychology - either at least 60 days or equivalent supervised clinical placements as part of the professional qualification; or at least 60 days or equivalent post- qualification supervised work experience as a psychologist. Note 2. Or · Applicants with an educational psychology qualification must demonstrate that they have acquired in appropriate health settings for the area / areas for which they wish to apply - Child Disability, Child Psychology - either at least 60 days or equivalent supervised clinical placements as part of the professional qualification; or at least 60 days or equivalent post qualification supervised work experience as a psychologist. Grade and Salary Grade G (€30,917-€46,375)* The Role The Asset Operations function forms the cornerstone of service delivery to customers, protecting the environment and meeting regulatory standards as well as managing the majority of operational expenditure. The Asset Operations function has responsibility for operational and maintenance strategy, policies, planning and standard operating procedures for Water and Wastewater operations both nationally and regionally, ensuring that value for money and customer service is delivered. The Water O&M Management functional area is responsible for the national delivery of water operational services through the operation, inspection, maintenance & repair of the water treatment and network assets. The Leakage Detection sub-area is responsible for leakage detection supported by the Water Leakage Analysis and Water Conservation & Network Planning teams within the Asset Management function. The fix element of Leakage will be undertaken by internal resources in the Water Network M&R team and supplemented by third party / contractors as required.  Reporting to the Leakage Detection Team Lead, the Leakage Detection Operative is responsible for monitoring Uisce Éireann pipe infrastructure using specialised equipment to measure water pressure and flow, detecting leaks in the network, and escalating these to the Team Lead.  Night time working may be required in line with operational requirements in addition to out of hours working as required. The Role: Support Workers provide a key-working supportive role for a group of people supported by the services. The role comprises of two main elements. Firstly the Support Worker is responsible for all aspects of personal care required during the day. This includes supporting individuals with their meals, personal hygiene and other related aspects of physical well-being, to the extent required by the individual. Secondly, a major focus of the Support Worker role is to assist people supported by the services with development of Individual Plan’s and the achievement of associated outcomes, and critically, in participating in the ordinary everyday life of the community through inclusive and creative thinking. Reporting/Responsible To: Team Leader Qualifications: Applicants must have a good general education. A recognised qualification appropriate to the field of Intellectual Disability is an advantage. A QQI Level 5 or higher desirable. A full clean manual Driving Licence, which qualifies you to drive manual transmission vehicles on Irish Roads and use of your own car is an essential requirement. Applicants who are in the process of obtaining a full Driving Licence will also be taken into account. It is essential for the appointee to drive the transport that is assigned to the Service. Fluency in verbal and written English is an essential requirement of this post. Experience: Experience working with individuals with an intellectual disability and individuals with challenging behaviour is desirable. Full training will be provided. Previous experience of working in the health care sector is essential. Laimh and previous experience of working with people with autism, complex medical needs and mental health is an advantage. Skills: Candidates must be able to demonstrate flexibility, communication and team-working skills, together with an enthusiasm for the post. IT skills are essential. Working Hours: 78 hours a fortnight based on a 7 day duty roster. The successful candidates will be required to work to accommodate, day shifts, weekend work, some split duty hours, public holidays, night duty, sleep-ins. The Brothers of Charity model of service is based on Personal Outcome Measures requiring employees to be flexible in their working hours to provide a quality service delivery for each individual.
