ABOUT THE ROLE: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an area support nurse to contribute to the clinical needs of clients while also contributing to the overall clinical governance strategy. In this position, you will be part of a clinical team and responsible for overseeing that clients in your area are being provided with safe and effective care. You will work closely with the Client Care Managers who manage their own HSE area. By supporting the Client Care Managers, you will assist them with running their areas and ensure that auditing and compliance checks are completed regularly. You will have the responsibility to take ownership of achieving the highest levels of compliance with regards to regulations, laws, quality standards and policies whilst ensuring your service receives an outstanding HSE/ HIQA inspection. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR Qualifications & Experience:  Active on the NMBI Register – General Nurse Division, minimum of 3 years’ experience in an acute setting, a current full clean driving license and excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office Drivers licence:  Hold a full driving licence with access to a car Communication Skills:  Good standard of English - both spoken and written Desirable Criteria:  Previous experience working within home care, certification in wound care, excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to multitask in an ever changing environment.
