The job role is primarily hands-on completing both planned maintenance and reactive tasks, this role requires the organization and supervisory management of subcontractors PPM works and reactive tasks, as well as updating information on company and Client CAFM systems on task status using computer or handheld device. A strong sense of ownership will be displayed making sure the building and its grounds are always in excellent condition. Maintenance Technician (Electrical)

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager the successful candidate will work in conjunction with Production and Operations. They will perform installation, repair and troubleshooting work with electrical and mechanical systems/equipment in all areas of the factory. Key Responsibilities: · Observe all on site and legislative rules and regulations in terms of Health & Safety, food safety and environmental. · Ensure all maintenance is carried out under GMP conditions. · Carry out electrical and mechanical process awareness, diagnostics and troubleshooting. · Complete electrical and mechanical repairs to food processing, handling and packaging equipment. · Technical support for plant facilities and services including compressed air, steam, refrigeration and effluent plant. · Carry out and record planned maintenance routines. · Carry out and record preventive maintenance. · Control of contractors and acting as liaison person when required The Candidate: The successful candidate must have relevant experience in a similar role with specific reference to the following: Salary : The remuneration package on offer will reflect the importance of the role and the experience of the successful candidate. Job Overview The Electronics Technician will be responsible for electronic and maintenance activities with in a manufacturing environment comprising of both preventive and reactive duties, to also include data collection/documentation for validated systems. You will take the lead role in maintaining, troubleshooting electronic equipment and instrumentation. Managing the data and documentation for all data collected from the validated systems. General Purpose & Requirements of the Job Purpose of the Job As part of the Maintenance team the Maintenance Technician will assist in problem solving activities on key technical equipment problems and provide support to maintenance teams on equipment when required. They will work closely with all staff in each area to ensure the smooth running of core business plant, maximise the utilisation of machinery and equipment, proactively work to eliminate plant downtime and make improvements to the processes. Key Skills and Requirements Key Competences · 3 years relevant experience in an industrial environment · Analytical capacity to identify and address technical issues/opportunities which can impact upon production and quality · Foster a continuous improvement approach, benchmarking internally and externally to track progress 4. A permanent vacancy currently exists within Mid and East Antrim Borough Council for the following posts and applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates:- Building Regulation Technician 37 hours per week SO1, SCP 25-27, Currently £36,363 - £38,220 pro rata. Location: The location of this post will be in Museum and Civic Centre, Carrickfergus but requirements of the post may result in the postholder having to work in locations across the Borough. Precast Setup Technician

The company is customer focus led, ensuring the continued evolution of our extensive product range, designed to meet the requirements of civil infrastructure, agriculture and building customers across the UK and Ireland. We are currently recruiting for Precast Setup Technicians to join our growing Production team on a permanent basis. The purpose of this role is to operate as part of our expanding team in the production of precast concrete products in accordance with Company standards and targets, adhering to the daily production plan e.g., preparing moulds, pouring concrete, producing all planned products, carrying out tasks effectively and meeting health and safety standards. As part of our growing team, you will be contributing to the construction Industry and also award-winning Coastal Protection, Road and Rail projects across the UK and Ireland. Hours of work: Hours will be variable between 32-48 hours per week as needed. Standard hours of work will be Monday – Friday 06:00am – 15:00pm, 07:00 – 16:00pm or 08:00am – 17:00pm, however flexibility to work overtime and/or Saturdays as necessary is essential. Job responsibilities: To comply with the SHEQ Safety, Health, Environment and Quality management system. To participate in all aspects of the Operational Excellence approach. To read drawings and plans accurately and relay correct information. Attention to detail within drawings and plans. To setup precast units including moulds, positions for reinforcement, lifters, and to achieve specified concrete finishes. Liaise with the Technical Department to resolve any issues. To maintain adherence to the daily production plan e.g., moulds prepared, all planned products produced, tasks being carried out efficiently etc. To participate in any training as agreed per the plan. To communicate daily with the Team Leader on progress. To complete all daily required production records e.g., Timesheets. To achieve an acceptable level of housekeeping. To participate in continue improvement and problem-solving initiative. Ability to work flexibly within the Production department and work within any area required. Essential Criteria: NVQ Level 3 in Construction or similar. And/or 3 years’ experience in reading drawings and pour setups.. Work experience in construction or civil engineering related projects. The ability to read technical/construction drawings. Understanding of Health & Safety at work. Good Communication and teamwork experience. Willing to clean and maintain work area. An understanding of both written and spoken English. Desirable Criteria: (The following skills would be an advantage) Experience with hand/air and power tools. Counterbalance forklift licence or overhead crane licence. CSR / First Aid / Fire Warden Training.
